HI! My DS is almost 2 and i want to pull the potty chair out for him to get used to.. anyway, i used them for my DD, who is now 5. When I got them, they came with the plastic pee guards for boys but Lord knows where those are! I probably threw them out not knowing what they were! LOL
Any good chairs for boys? Preferably one with a guard attached so he won't take it off and play with it? (If that's possible!)
TIA!!

I've used the Safety 1st Potty 'n Step Stool with my daycare kids and it's been pretty nice. The pee guard does come off on that one though. The one I used with my son was the little tikes on that they don't make anymore.
I just did a search on Target's website and the babybjorn (

Good Luck!

Potty Training Aids
We tried all kinds of things and the first one that worked was the Bjorn little potty. Then when he was able to make it onto the toilet, we got the Potty Pal from amazon. The guard isn't huge, but it is sufficient and it is part of the seat so it can't come off.
Actually, two months after training, my son prefers to stand up to pee anyway, so that is irrelevant for us now. Whew! What a relief.
We have an Elmo potty chair for my 2 year old. He's a HUGE Elmo fan so we thought it would be motivational. You can press Elmo's hand and he says inspirational phrases in both Spanish and English. It's pretty exciting as far as potty chairs go! The guard comes off on it but so far we've been able to keep track of it. I usually try to make sure he's "pointing down" anyway so the splash guard isn't all that important for us. We're just in the beginning stages of potty training though. The bottom part of it converts to a step stool and the top comes off and can go on the big toilet. But maybe all potty chairs do that?
