When it's warm outside, my daughter and her friends like to get out the finger paints and paint their bodies. They have so much fun and when they're done, they just hose themselves off!
Great idea!! My daughter loves to paint!!

thanks!

Body painting is one way to enjoy finger paints.
Here are a few more fingerpaint tips and activities.

Mix a bit of dish detergent in with the fingerpaints if they are not the "washable" kind to make clean up easier.

Try fingerpaint "prints".Let your preschooler finger paint on a tray or on a hard, washable surface, then lay a piece of newsprint over the picture and "print" it on the paper by pressing it down.

Put a piece of newsprint that fits in the bottom of a dishpan or similar tub. Roll a marble or small ball in the fingerpaints and let your preschooler roll it around in the tub. You can add different colors.

Wrap yarn loosely around a toilet paper tube so it makes lines that criss-cross. Roll the tube in fingerpaints, then over a piece of paper. You can repeat this several times with the same or different colors go make interstings designs.
