I've got 2 daughters and even though they're now in elementary school, I still get hours in the playground with my youngest especially - more unassisted watching, that's true, but still lots of pushing on the swings and riding see-saws.
Florida, eh, Sunshine Mom? I'm shivering on the island city of St. John's in Canada. We're new to the city and played tourists all glorious summer long. Besides learning a lot, it's reminded me of the "joy of discovery", something adults forget about over time and one of the reasons children are such a joy.
