My 2 year old is obsessed with the movie Cars. He always asks to watch it. I'm fairly certain if I watch that movie one more time I'll lose my mind! His birthday party was this weekend and his cousins stayed over. They all love the movie. We don't normally watch a lot of TV but this weekend they watched Cars no less than 3 times between Saturday afternoon and Sunday morning. Brody wanted to watch it again today. Anyone else's preschooler have a favorite movie that they could watch nonstop all day and night?
Absolutely, and Cars is one of them. "Looks like we got a nodder" is Cz's most repeated phrase. Cars drives me nuts, no pun intended. Although I kind of enjoy it still, especially when that Hummer doesn't want to go off roading because he doesn't want to get "dirty".
My son loves "Cars" too. He was obsessed for quite a while, but he's over it and now just watches it on occasion. He loves the soundtrack too. I have listened to it soooooooo many times. I have to keep his CD player in the car so he can listen to his music and I can listen to the radio.
My son loves whatever the latest children's movie is in his collection. He wants to watch it over and over... Cars was a favorite for a while, lately it's been TMNT (UGH) or Pokemon (we bought a tape for a couple dollars on clearance). I much preferred Cars, LOL.
You think Cars gets old, my sons can't get enough Spongebob or Power Rangers!
My daughter has been hooked on Finding Nemo for as long as she has known what a TV is! We used to watch it almost daily but it has dropped off a bit to about once every two weeks. Right now Chicken Little is a big hit. Shark Tales ranks pretty high too.
I remember when I was younger and my cousin couldn't fall asleep unless The Sandlot was on and thought "how weird is that!" Little did I know that as a parent I would come to rely on a movie every once in a while to calm my child down.
